Subject: Declaration of Licensed and Open-Source Software Usage
This is to formally declare that Digitobit, operating from Indore, India, conducts all business activities strictly in compliance with applicable software licensing regulations. Our organization does not engage in the use of unlicensed or pirated software.
1. Operating Systems and Platforms
- All systems within Digitobit operate on Linux-based distributions.
- No Windows-based or other proprietary platforms are in use without valid licensing.
2. Design and Development Tools
- Digitobit primarily utilizes open-source tools, including but not limited to:
- Inkscape (vector graphics)
- GIMP (image editing)
- Blender (3D design & animation)
- LibreOffice (office productivity)
- Custom open-source frameworks for software and web development.
3. Commercial Software
- Where commercial software is required, it is properly licensed and maintained.
- No trial, cracked, or unauthorized versions of any proprietary software are in use within the organization.
4. Compliance and Governance
- Digitobit maintains full documentation of software usage and licenses.
- Any inquiry regarding our compliance can be formally addressed through written communication and verified via proper legal channels.
5. Anti-Harassment Stance
- We acknowledge the existence of fraudulent entities falsely claiming to represent software compliance teams in India.
- Digitobit does not entertain harassment, intimidation, or unverified claims. Any such attempts will be reported to the appropriate cybercrime and law enforcement authorities.
